In humid climates increasing the time the unit is running decreases the humidity level and increases the quality of air virtually eliminating mold and mildew problems caused by high hunidity.

Add a air exchanger unit (ERV energy recovery unit) and now you reclaim 90% of the energy used to cool incoming air reducing your cost even more.

Add a humidistat to monitor you air humidity keeping it to 50% or lower.
