What More Plumber Bummers? I am going Plumb Crazy!!

The" ISSUE "The drain is not only off center but off sides, A double penalty. Causing problems with the slope of the shower floor " unacceptable". PS This is the "second" drain that was horrible misplaced. The first one was fixed only by DOUBLING the size of the shower as that drain was placed in the middle of the adjoining wall. So for incorrect drain placement problems we have tripled the cost of the one shower, Lost the original use of the theater by having to give up 3 feet of width to the guest shower and now had to redesign the master shower and pay a days labor for the fix.

The "FIX" Chip out the concrete so that it "appears" that the drain is set correctly. So we used the same idea here as we did for the floor to tile break and made the shower floor bigger so that there is equal distance from each edge to the center using a random curve. This gives us the required slope and hides the problem of the drain being off center.

The final rough result ready for finishing. Now we have a gradual 1/4" per foot slope to the drain but when you stand in the shower instead of standing in the lowest part by the drain you still stand on a slope. OH WELL We will call this the "shower for the off balanced"! If the shower fits stand in it!!!
